Scottish Rugby is once again offering the opportunity for aspiring young rugby talent to be included in their regional development programme.

The programme which could be the first step to an international career is open to all girls born in the years 1993 – 1995 to try out.

The trials will take place on Sunday 6 June in four regions throughout the country:
South East – Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh, EH12 5PJ
South West – Cartha Queens Park RFC, Dumbreck, 92 Dumbreck Road, Glasgow,G41 5SN
North East – Aboyne Academy, Bridgeview Road, Aboyne, Aberdeenshire, AB34 5JN
North West – Highland RFC, Canal Park, Invrness, IV3 5SS

The day is set to commence at 10am and finish at 2.30pm and will focus on players’ ability, athleticism, attitude and commitment.

Successful candidates will then advance to the full programme which will include four intensive training sessions and three games. The training sessions will be on 13 June, 10 July, 15 August and 29 August. The games which will be against each of the other regions are scheduled for 1 August, 22 August and 12 September.
