Women’s rugby are seeking the stars of the future and have confirmed the venues for the regional under-18 trials which will take place on 21 June (10am – 2pm).

Players must be aged between of 15 and 17 (born between 1 Sept 1991and 31 Aug 1994) to be eligible.

SWRU U18 Regional Trials
 
The regional programme will run in three different regions (south-east, west, north and midlands).

Players are welcome to come and attend the trials no matter what experience they have with rugby.

Please go to the downloads section and complete a player registration form or simply turn up on the day and complete one there.

The dates for the sessions are as listed and will run from 7-9pm / festival days will be held at weekend 10am-3pm

21 June – Regional Trials Days (10am – 2pm)
15 July – Session 1 (includes presentation to players and parents)
29 July – Session 2
5 Aug – Session 3
16 Aug – Festival 1 (10am – 3pm)
2 Sept – Session 4
16 Sept – Session 5
26 Sept – Festival 2 (10am – 3pm)
7 Oct – Session 6

Trial venues:
South-east: Lasswade RFC (Hawthornden, Polton, Bonnyrigg, Midlothian EH19 3PR)
West: Hillhead RFC (Hughenden, 32 Hughenden Road Glasgow, G12 9XP)
North & Midlands: Perth RFC (Bells sports centre, Hay street, Perth, PH15HS)

(Please note that the North & Midlands squad will rotate between Perth, Aboyne and Highlands for training venues)
