Dear Senior Club
Firstly let us introduce ourselves, we are Claire Cruikshank & Louise Dalgliesh, we are the Youth Co-ordinators who sit on the SWRU Board. As you should be aware the Age Band Review has been taking place, after a lengthy consultation process this is now ready to be rolled out for Season 2007-08. The Youth Rules and Regulations for the new season are now available for download from the SWRU downloads section of the website and will also shortly be available as part of the Rugby Record, also a copy is attached here for you reference. One major change that will affect Senior Clubs is in relation to Players Under the Age of 18, please refer to these Rule & Regulations for clarity. Please ensure ALL U18 players requiring dispensation have the relevant forms sent to the SWRU and have approval prior to taking part in Senior Rugby.
